No, and you shouldn't let anyone pressure wash yours. High pressure blasts the protective granules off asphalt shingles, drives water under the courses, and voids most roofing warranties. We use the soft-wash method: low pressure paired with roof-safe cleaning solutions that do the real work, which is exactly what shingle manufacturers recommend.
What roof types do you clean?
We clean asphalt and composition shingle, tile and concrete-tile, and metal or standing-seam roofs, each with the method that suits it. We do not currently service cedar shake roofs. If you're not sure what your roof is, send us a photo and we'll tell you straight.
Will roof cleaning damage my shingles?
Not the way we do it. Because we soft wash rather than pressure wash, there's no blasting force to loosen granules or lift shingles. The cleaning solutions kill the moss and algae, and a gentle rinse carries it away, leaving the shingles undisturbed.
